The Weber Stainless Steel & Metal Protectant bonds with the metal surfaces of the barbecue to create a physical barrier against salt, chlorine and other environmental factors, meaning that the corrosive effects are greatly reduced. We recommend application of the product every three months for best results, or after any significant cleaning (especially if a degreasing cleaner is used) of the metal surfaces of the barbecue.
