STIHL MSA120C COMPACT CORDLESS CHAINSAW

The MSA 120 C-B Cordless Chainsaw has outstanding cutting performance for using around the garden and is suitable for cutting firewood and general garden tidy up. This Chainsaw is extremely lightweight, quiet and easy to use - it starts with the push of a button. The MS 120 C-B has many of the same features as the STIHL petrol models including: Quick Chain Tensioning where the adjusting wheel tightens the chain without tools and the Ematic chain lubrication system which achieves maximum lubrication leading to reduced wear of the chain and lower oil consumption.

The MSA 120 C-B is part of our COMPACT Cordless System range of tools with interchangeable Batteries - the Battery can be used in other tools in this range including a Hedge Trimmer, Blower, Line Trimmers and Lawn Mowers.

FEATURES:

Quiet
The STIHL Cordless tools are so quiet you don't even need to wear ear protection. They are ideal to use in noise sensitive areas like schools, hotels and parks.


STIHL Quick Chain Tensioning (B)
Tension the chain easily without using tools or coming into contact with the sharp chain. Just release the sprocket cover and turn the adjusting wheel until the optimum tension is reached.


STIHL Electric Motor (EC)
The STIHL brushless electric motor (EC) is extremely energy efficient and does not require any maintenance. It ensures the tool has the optimum power output at all times. The motor runs quietly and generates very low vibrations.


Ematic Chain Lubrication System
A reservoir holds bar oil until it is picked up by the passing chain. This achieves maximum lubrication resulting in longer wear and less oil consumption.


QuickStop Super Brake (Q)
An additional braking system for increased safety, designed by STIHL. The Chain is stopped within a second, helping to protect the user.


Neutral Battery Position
The Battery can be inserted into the tool in 2 steps. In the first position, the Battery does not connect with the contacts, in this position it is secure but the tool will not operate allowing for safe transport. In the second position the battery is completely inserted ready for operation of the tool.


Clear Chain Oil Tank
The clear viewing window in the tank allows you to check the chain oil level easily without having to remove the oil filler cap.

Run time on recommended AK 20 Battery: 40 minutes or around 120 cuts
Run time on AK 10 battery: Up to 18 minutes - Battery not recommended
Run time on AK 30 battery: Up to 55 minutes or 150 cuts
